Job summary

Cadence Education seeks a passionate Toddler Teacher to support daily classroom operations and Cadence Education programs under the supervision of the School Director and Lead Teacher.

You will help create a safe, nurturing environment addressing physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, including children with IEPs. The role emphasizes routines, curriculum delivery, and strong family relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Must meet minimum state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools and systems.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents and incidents as required.
