Job summary

Cadence Education in Surprise, AZ is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to support daily classroom operations and implement Cadence Education programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports young children’s development.

The role requires meeting state licensing qualifications, good English communication, and teamwork. An Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education is preferred; CDA is welcome if state requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow safety and licensing policies and document incidents.
• Assist in managing behaviors in line with Cadence policies.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
