Job summary

Guy Fieri's Dive & Taco Joint Kansas City is seeking servers for a brand-new bar and dining concept developed by Guy Fieri in Kansas City, MO. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver cocktails and menu items in a fast-paced environment.

You should be energetic, friendly, and professional, with excellent English and strong guest service skills. Prior nightlife or high-volume experience and alcohol certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food and beverage venues, preferably nightlife.
• Knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes preferred.
• Must communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Alcohol awareness certification or health/food handler card as required.
• Reading, writing and basic math for orders and payments.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly.
• Serve cocktails and menu items; upsell when taking orders.
• Maintain professionalism and a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Communicate with guests clearly and with good humor.
• Be knowledgeable about all menu items to guide guest experience.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and stop service as needed.
• Complete all side work and accurately account for sales.
• Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for orders.
• Report issues to management and assist with service recovery.
• Promote teamwork across departments.
• Handle cash and payments accurately.
