Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to coach adults and children, teach life skills to young members, and assess swim levels. You will help maintain a safe, clean pool area and support Aquatics programs.

The role requires Lifeguard/CPR certifications or bridging, and a commitment to customer service and safety. Compensation is hourly, with benefits for full-time staff where applicable.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Complete Life Time training courses upon hire.
• Ability to work while stationary and move around the club for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally more than 20 lbs.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services.
