Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to help adults and children improve their swimming and develop life skills. You will evaluate swimmers to assign levels and maintain a clean, safe Aquatics facility across shifts.

The role includes teaching lessons, assisting members, and promoting Aquatics programs, with duties that require standing and moving around the club. Certifications like StarGuard Elite and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current expires).

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services
