Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to help adults and children improve their swimming skills and learn life-saving techniques. You will assess swim levels, teach lessons, and contribute to a clean, safe pool environment while promoting Aquatics programs.

The role requires Lifeguard/CPR-style readiness, the ability to work in a fast-paced club setting, and effective communication with members. Benefits include paid training and opportunities within a large multi-facility

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass Life Time courses upon hire.
• Able to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Able to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Able to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs.

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services.
