Schoolforce Solutions Inc. in Park Ridge, Illinois, seeks a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year in a self-contained third–fifth grade classroom with a 5–8 student caseload focused on behavior needs. The role includes literacy, math, science, and social studies instruction and IEP development for each student.

You will monitor progress with data-driven methods, adapt instruction to diverse learners, and collaborate with student teams and parents to support each child’s goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education Endorsement (ISBE).
• LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement.
• Experience with IEP development and implementation.
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings.
• Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with ISBE and IDEA guidelines.
• Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies.
