Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the PRIDE Program in Burbank, IL. The role supports HS Science under the AERO Coop and involves collaboration with IEP teams to deliver individualized instruction from EC to age 22.

Responsibilities include case management, developing IEPs, and preparing detailed reports while using classroom technology to document progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Illinois LBSI or Professional Educator License required.
• Experience with IEP processes and case management preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and to prepare technical reports for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility as case manager for each student as determined by the IEP Process.
• Develop and implement Individual Educational Programs for students with varying functional levels.
• Prepare necessary written materials including goals, objectives, summaries/reports (including data summaries) for all meetings pertaining to student performance.
• Plan daily lesson and weekly schedules to incorporate objectives and group activities into a smooth routine.
