Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Knowledge of ARD process and IEPs.
• Ability to provide differentiated and specially designed instruction.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instruction aligned with TEKS and individual IEPs.
• Provide specially designed instruction addressing academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
• Implement accommodations and services outlined in IEPs.
• Use data and progress monitoring to guide instruction and measure growth.
• Document progress toward annual IEP goals.
• Collaborate with staff to support students in least restrictive environment.
• Prepare ARD documents and participate in meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Support district goals and participate in professional development.
