Job summary

You will design and deliver instruction aligned to the AKS curriculum and IEPs, supporting students with disabilities across classes. You will collaborate with regular educators, participate in professional development, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field of education from a PSC-approved college or university
• Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of education required
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• IDEIA/due process knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and/or specially designed instruction aligned with the district AKS and IEPs
• Consult with classroom teachers/administrators to develop academic and behavioral programs
• Participate as an active faculty member and share duties
• Conduct in-service training on special education and IDEA guidelines
• Collaborate with regular educators to support students with disabilities in general classrooms
• Plan and deliver lessons with clear objectives and assessments
