Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough is hiring a Service Advisor to serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring every vehicle receives the appropriate service and repairs. The role emphasizes clear communication, warranty administration, and accurate estimating.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to drive for the company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure customer needs are understood by the technician and that required service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records; explain provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, plus repairs and services needed; obtain signatures; enter RO into service database.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns; consult on service specials and keep customers informed on times and costs.
