Job summary

Trailborn Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented server to join our dining team. You will greet guests, explain menu options, and deliver food and drinks to tables with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Regular part-time status, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming guest experience. A TIPS certification or ability to obtain it is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum legal age to serve alcohol.
• TIPS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent English communication (verbal, non-verbal, written).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle POS transactions accurately.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to remain calm, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, beverages, correct glassware, and garnishes.
• Greet guests in accordance with company standards.
• Set tables and maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Serve food and beverages; answer menu and beverage questions; process orders in POS.
• Communicate special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
• Present checks, process payments, and thank guests.
• Operate equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
• Communicate with the kitchen on questions or changes.
• Assist teammates by running food, bussing tables, and restocking.
• Complete closing duties and restock items.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
• Support the team and work toward common goals.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
