Target is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and assets while delivering a safe shopping experience. You will engage with guests, monitor store environments, and support loss-prevention initiatives to minimize shortages.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to technology used in surveillance and incident documentation. Flexible hours and weekend shifts are common in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work both independently and with a team and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests and team members at the front of store and on the sales floor.
• Maintain safe and secure store standards and deter shortage.
• Respond to and document security incidents accurately.
• Utilize escalation tools to address guest issues and ensure safety.
• Conduct merchandise protection and assist with recoveries per AP policies.
