Job summary

The Newgrange School of Princeton Inc seeks a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will plan and deliver math instruction for grades 6-12, align with New Jersey standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support diverse learners.

You will implement IEP goals, differentiate instruction, and maintain accurate records while contributing to a positive, structured classroom environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of effective mathematics instructional strategies and developmentally appropriate practices for grades 6-12.
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver mathematics instruction aligned with New Jersey standards and the school curriculum.
• Develop and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs and learning profiles.
• Implement IEP goals and accommodations and maintain accurate student records.
• Use differentiated and multisensory instructional strategies to support student learning.
• Monitor and communicate student progress with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and other professionals to support student needs.
• Attend IEP meetings, staff meetings, professional development, and required school activities.
• Supervise students as assigned.
• Support the mission, philosophy, policies, and educational goals of The Newgrange School.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal or Administration.
