Job summary

The Newgrange School in the United States is seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, Grades 6–12. You will plan and deliver rigorous mathematics instruction aligned with New Jersey standards while supporting students' academic and individual learning needs.

Responsibilities include developing differentiated lessons, implementing IEP goals, collaborating with staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey instructional certificate or Statement of Eligibility appropriate for teaching mathematics in Grades 6–12.
• Knowledge of effective mathematics instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, and developmentally appropriate practices for students in Grades 6–12.
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and profiles.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
• NJDOE-required fingerprinting and criminal history clearance.
• Other qualifications as determined appropriate by the Principal and/or Executive Director.
