Job summary

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate, with demonstrated competency in the English subject and the ability to manage diverse classrooms effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training for DOI certification waivers.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and student needs.
• Plan instructional strategies and activities reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to adapt curricula for IEPs.
• Establish goals and methods with staff to meet district expectations.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned.
