Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or related training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• CPR/AED certification for PE teachers (if applicable) and ongoing certification maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum.
• Plan and use instructional strategies aligned with TEA guidelines and student needs.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with staff and modify curricula for IEPs as needed.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and the community.
