Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; one year cooking/baking in large quantities.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices in food handling.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at a school site.
• Prepare rolls, breads, cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
• Monitor temperatures of foods for safety and quality.
• Assist in inventory and maintain routine records.
• Train and provide work direction to others.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
