Job summary

Meruelo Media's KLOS station seeks an experienced Part-Time/Relief On-Air Personality to provide on-air coverage as needed. The candidate will step into various dayparts, connect with the audience, and deliver content consistent with the station's sound and brand.

The role requires a polished broadcaster with rock/music knowledge and the ability to create topical, original content for social and digital platforms. Flexibility for various shifts and events is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, broadcasting, or related field preferred or equivalent broadcast experience.
• Previous professional on-air radio experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rock music and pop culture; ability to develop topical content.

Responsibilities

• Provide live or pre-recorded on-air coverage as assigned by Program Director or station management.
• Deliver engaging, authentic on-air content aligned with KLOS branding.
• Prepare show content using current events, music, entertainment, and social media.
• Operate studio control console and automation systems.
• Contribute content for digital and social platforms; attend events when scheduled.
