Storage Mart is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to support its Risk Management department in addressing property damage claims, vendor relationships, and related tasks. The role emphasizes detail orientation and the ability to handle sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with risk managers, legal, and HR to ensure accurate claim processing, timely repairs, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies is a plus.
• Experience with claims management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, settle, and/or deny personal property claims, ensuring smooth and efficient resolutions.
• Maintain and update certificates of insurance for vendors, contractors, and others.
• Monitor property damage repairs and ensure timely completion while handling all accounting and payment procedures.
• Maintain accurate files for property damage, incident reports, and injuries, providing full transparency for internal stakeholders.
• Track litigation status and ensure relevant parties are notified as needed.
• Work closely with Risk Managers, Corporate Counsel, and Human Resources to ensure a seamless flow of information on claims, incidents, and employee injuries.
• Assist with various tasks as needed to help the Risk Management team succeed.
