Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (e.g. cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: acknowledge customers and provide assistance.
• Understand and meet customer needs: share product knowledge, answer questions, direct to merchandise, offer recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address issues and offer exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform management about restocking and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate to achieve store objectives.
