Job summary

Five Below is hiring part-time Sales Associates for our stores. You will greet customers, assist with product information, and process transactions while keeping the floor well-stocked and organized.

We look for 16+ year-olds with a passion for delivering outstanding service, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts. Previous tech familiarity helps with registers and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• 16 years old or older.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally; use information gathering to solve problems.
• Able to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and provide assistance across multiple customers.
• Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge and directing to merchandise; offer recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges.
• Communicate merchandise restocking needs and customer feedback to management.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
