Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains store cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Provides customer service such as greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing up customers, thanking them, and inviting them to return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Loss Prevention with the Store Manager, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses and reporting incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
