Citi Trends in-store is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain product knowledge to ensure satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, vigilant approach and strong communication in a dynamic retail environment.

This position supports a positive work culture, assists with merchandising, and adheres to loss prevention and safety procedures while handling transactions accurately. Reports to Store Management in a non-exempt, in-store setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight and assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy and handles cash, checks and credit cards.
• Provides proper customer service, greets customers and thanks them for shopping.
• Explains exchange/refund policies and supports loss prevention procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and assists management in merchandising.
• Follows safety procedures and wears a name tag.
