Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Mattoon, IL is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead operations, drive sales and uphold brand standards. You will oversee staff, coach managers, and ensure guest satisfaction while controlling costs and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years of restaurant or retail management experience (full-bar a plus) and a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute the overall business staff plan; maintain proper staffing levels for each Department Manager to build sales.
• Prepare manager schedules to ensure adequate business coverage according to the Worldwide Wings Quality Manager Schedule Guidelines.
• Oversee human‑resource functions, ensuring 100% compliance with federal, state and local laws, company policies and procedures.
• Communicate employee benefits to Department Managers, Restaurant Support Managers and Hourly Team Members.
• Provide performance feedback, recognition and ongoing support to Assistant General Managers, Department Managers, Restaurant Support Managers and Hourly Team Members, including manager one‑on‑ones and performance reviews.
