Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control North America is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest management services to new and existing residential customers while delivering exceptional service. You will perform needs analyses, visually inspect properties, and collaborate with the service and sales teams to close opportunities.

The role requires 1+ years in sales or pest tech, strong verbal communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• Prefer 1-2 years of experience in pest control sales and 2+ years in a customer service role.
• Must be an effective verbal communicator, with customer-facing conversations and follow-ups.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' needs by performing a needs analysis and selling pest control solutions.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entry points.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve pest issues and propose enhancements.
• Complete Home diagram and use Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of customer home and challenges.
