Coldwell Banker Premier in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an experienced Rental Agent to join our thriving property management team. The Rental Agent handles all aspects of leasing, from introducing properties to prospective tenants to regular inspections of occupied units.

Your goal is to achieve high occupancy rates and maximize profitability for clients, while providing excellent service and maintaining compliance with housing laws.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in property management.
• Property Management or Real Estate License required.
• Deep understanding of real estate law and leasing practices.
• Knowledge of local real estate market and housing trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Experience with property management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advertise vacant properties.
• Show properties to prospective tenants and inform them of amenities.
• Hold open houses.
• Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references.
• Accept rental payments and provide receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and housing trends.
• Negotiate leasing terms and close deals.
• Inspect properties regularly and schedule maintenance/repairs.
• Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned.
