Job summary

The City of East Point, GA is seeking a Recreation Center Supervisor to lead a range of youth and community recreation programs. You will organize, promote and run activities across arts, sports, music and special events, while supervising staff and volunteers.

You will coordinate citywide events, engage diverse age groups, and ensure safety, quality and positive participant experiences. Ability to manage records and communicate with families is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Recreation or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification; ability to obtain National Parks and Recreation certification desired; valid State of Georgia Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, promotes, teaches and conducts a variety of recreation activities (arts, crafts, sports, games, music, dance, drama, nature study, special events).
• Assists in organizing tournaments, shows, exhibits, festivals and special events.
• Supervises a center area (gym, field, game room, crafts room).
• Coordinates and assists in Citywide events.
• Plans activities for different ages and skill levels.
• Performs other related duties.
