Job summary

City of East Point seeks a Recreation Center Supervisor to lead and organize diverse programs for seniors, after school and day camp activities. You will supervise facilities, schedule activities, and coordinate events while ensuring safety and smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Recreation or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• First Aid and CPR certification, ability to obtain National Parks and Recreation certification desired.
• Valid State of Georgia Driver's License; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, promotes, teaches and conducts a variety of recreation activities, such as arts and crafts, sports and games, music, dance, drama, nature study, and special events.
• Assists in organizing, promoting and directing tournaments, shows, social exhibits, festivals and special events.
• Supervises an assigned functional area of the center, such as gymnasium, athletic field, game room, crafts room, etc.
• Coordinates and assists in conducting organizational and Citywide events.
• Plans a variety of activities catering to different age groups and varying degrees of participant skills.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
