Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc in Columbus, OH seeks a Shipping and Receiving Associate to maintain efficient flow of activities in the Central Distribution’s shipping and receiving area. You will coordinate daily distribution for departments, notify of order status, and liaise with vendors and staff to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, shipping/receiving experience, and are willing to become OSHA-certified trainers for powered industrial lift

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent, required.
• Shipping and receiving experience, required.
• Must be willing to become certified trainer for powered industrial lift trucks (OSHA requirement).
• Knowledge of supply distribution and materials management terminology.
• Must be courteous to all customers both vendor representatives and employees visiting the Central Distribution Department.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and performs the daily functions for supply and equipment distribution for departments as well as shipping services.
• Notifies departments of order status. Advises essential stakeholders of problems and delays on orders as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between department leadership, support staff, vendors, and customers to fulfill supply and equipment requests, resolve incorrect orders, invoice discrepancies, shipping and courier services, and vendor returns.
• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
