Job summary

FIELD is seeking a first shift, hourly associate in Columbus, OH to support order fulfillment, inventory control, quality, and receiving at our Distribution Center. You will work closely with the DC Team Leader and contribute to daily operations and special projects supporting growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Polite and professional manner.
• Minimum of two years work experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Proven track record of results.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook knowledge and mathematical aptitude.
• Excel experience with spreadsheets and graphs is beneficial.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Strong time management and attention to details.
• Highly motivated and well organized.
• Ability to drive results with minimal supervision.
• Overtime availability as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily receivables of UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL, and containers.
• Develop and improve warehouse standard operating procedures.
• Handle products, materials, and supplies.
• Operate warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot receiving/technical issues.
• Verify material with caliper or similar devices.
• Inspect material for supplier and customer conformance.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Fill in for other positions as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Promote Field culture.
