Job summary

BEARCREEK is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care at our Grapevine, TX facility. Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state and maintain CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and provide in-services as needed.
