Job summary

Bridge Crest Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality care and help residents achieve mobility goals.

Responsibilities include providing patient care, documenting accurately, and educating residents and families. Experience with Net Health and Point Click Care is preferred; an active PTA license in WA or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington (or eligible).
• Proficient in data entry in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the PT and care team.
• Provide in-services on training programs for staff as needed.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
