Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist and assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will participate in recommending and implementing treatment plans, assist with all phases of therapy, document patient progress, and maintain ongoing communication

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team.
• Under the guidance of a physical therapist, assist in treating patients according to individualized plans of care.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
