Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to support patients through a tailored plan of care.

You will contribute to achieving excellent functional outcomes and collaborate with rehabilitation staff. You will assist with all phases of therapy, document patient responses, and help implement treatment programs

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Ability to follow an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists
• Strong communication with patients and Rehab/facility staff

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs, under supervision of a PT.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record conditions and responses in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
