Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Glendale to support the property manager with daily operations, leasing, reporting, and resident relations. You will help manage leases, rent collection, inspections, and move-ins/move-outs while upholding company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years in property management, knowledge of leasing lifecycles, and a preference for Yardi Voyager experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent and balance rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy and action dates.
• Handle move-ins/outs, lease renewals, and evictions as needed.
• Assist with vendor contracts, inspections and property upkeep.
• Support training of staff on leasing, marketing, and operations.
