Job summary

Maumee River Roofing in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a dependable Production Assistant to help manage daily operations, maintain the warehouse, and assist production and field crews with loading, unloading, and site deliveries.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn across a variety of tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
• Previous warehouse, construction, landscaping, or production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Load, unload, organize, and stock materials, tools, and equipment.
• Deliver and pick up dump trailers, equipment, and materials from job sites.
• Conduct routine vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Assist production and field crews with project setup, cleanup, and daily tasks.
• Transport tools and materials between the warehouse and job sites.
• Help monitor inventory levels and organize warehouse stock.
• Ensure tools, trailers, and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.
