Job summary

Empowered Pilates is hiring Certified Pilates Instructors for Tempe-area studios. Instructors can teach at one studio or multiple locations, with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate is positive, enthusiastic and dedicated to helping others live healthier lives through Pilates. Experience with reformer-based classes and a customer-focused approach is valued.

Qualifications

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus).
• Experience teaching group classes.
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction.
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated.
• Exceptional customer service with professional communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt and evolve in a fast-paced diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards.
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class using various equipment.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate.
• Uphold core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging.
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, and other sessions as needed.
• Inspect equipment prior to each class to ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
• Assist with membership sales and checking clients in.
• Participate in special events to promote the studio.
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services.
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Other duties as assigned.
