Job summary

Empowered Pilates is hiring certified Pilates Instructors for our Flagstaff studio. Instructors teach at a single studio or across multiple Empowered Pilates locations based on availability and studio needs.

We seek professionals who are energetic, positive, and enthusiastic about helping others live their best lives through health and fitness. You will lead dynamic, contemporary, apparatus-focused workouts using reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, and more, in both group and private sessions.

Qualifications

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
• Experience teaching group classes
• Effective group Pilates instruction
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
• Focus on exceptional customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
• Able to adapt and evolve in a fast-paced diverse environment

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, using equipment including Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, and more
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level-appropriate
• Uphold core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other sessions as needed
• Inspect equipment prior to each class to ensure safe operation
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
• Assist with membership sales and check-ins
• Participate in special events to promote the studio
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Other duties as assigned
