Job summary

Citrus Heights Community Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in resident care at our United States facility. The role focuses on direct resident care, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The PTA will ensure safety, follow infection control protocols, and contribute to care conferences, training, and discharge planning while educating residents and families on goals and home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, coworkers and families.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervising PT about progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist with ordering DME to support resident independence.
• Contribute to quality assurance and program development.
