Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Gretna is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist at our Gretna, Nebraska facility. You will contribute to a team dedicated to compassionate patient care in a clean, well-supplied environment.

The role requires an active PTA license and graduation from an accredited PTA program. You will follow HIPAA guidelines, maintain scheduled hours, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follow all regulations and guidelines including compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and professionally conducts themselves at all times.
• Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
• Regularly discuss with the supervising Physical Therapist the patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
• Ensure safe treatment practices and monitor patients’ engagement and responses to treatment modifications as necessary.
