Job summary

Pure Health in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide services under a Physical Therapist’s supervision, following state and federal regulations and facility policies.

You will engage in patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and functional goals in a post-acute setting. This role requires flexible hours and a commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy assistant program.
• At least 1 year therapy assistant experience.
• Licensed PTA with valid state license.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a post-acute setting.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, assist assessment and treatment as assigned.
• Document daily charges, progress notes, and other reports.
• Monitor and modify therapeutic plans based on patient progress.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the care team.
