Job summary

PureHealth is seeking a licensed Therapy Assistant to deliver physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role supports patient assessment, treatment implementation, and documentation in accordance with policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include contributing to the treatment plan, maintaining accurate records, educating patients and families, and coordinating with the care team for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy assistant program.
• Minimum of one year therapy assistant experience.
• Valid PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, contribute to customer assessment.
• Assist in treatment plan implementation aligned with patient needs.
• Document daily charges, Progress Notes, and reports accurately and timely.
• Monitor therapeutic benefits and adjust treatments as needed.
• Provide education to customers and families about therapy goals.
• Coordinate with the care team for discharge planning and updates.
