Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program.
• Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship for direct access, or licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence in differential diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provides direct patient care and documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Mentors Level II & III therapists, students, interns and staff; participates in program development.
• Ensures safe, compliant care and communicates with physicians and insurance providers.
• Maintains accurate medical records and supports department goals.
