Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or via the Physical Therapy Compact.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship, OR licensure with 30 hours continuing competence in differential diagnosis.
• Lifting 75–100 pounds, standing, walking, stooping and squatting as required.
• Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Implements therapy programs and provides care by therapists working with assistants and technicians.
• Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.
• Communicates with physicians and insurance companies.
• Presents topics in clinical meetings, grand rounds and conferences.
• Ensures safe care and adheres to policies, budgets and quality standards.
