Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and provide direct care based on evaluations. You will document progress and may assist senior therapists and lead program development.

The position requires adherence to safety standards, patient-focused care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Texas licensure and Life Support certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program
• The position requires occasional/frequent pushing and lifting of 75 - 100 pounds and carrying up to 30 pounds; prolonged standing; frequent walking, stooping and squatting
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission
• Current Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide direct patient care and document findings, progress, and instructions.
• Support Level II & III therapists and participate in program development.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians and ensure safe, effective care.
