Job summary

St. Luke's in Reading, PA seeks a licensed physical therapist to perform comprehensive initial evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

You will provide skilled interventions, educate patients and families, supervise PTAs and students, and participate in quality initiatives while maintaining documentation and confidentiality. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, Master's or Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program or PT certificate.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations to identify deficits and develops a treatment plan to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Educates patients and families about prognosis and care options and documents progress and outcomes.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and students as assigned and participates in quality improvement and professional development.

Education

Doctoral Degree, Masters, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program or physical therapy certificate
