Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Reading, PA seeks a full-time Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical impairments.

You will design individualized treatment plans to maximize function and educate patients and families to promote ongoing health and wellness. Required are a Doctoral/Masters/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, PA/NJ license, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of outpatient PT experience.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree, master's or bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• BLS/CPR certification must be obtained on hire or within 30 days.
• Current Physical Therapist license in PA or NJ based on work location.
• Minimum one year of outpatient PT experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with patients to set short- and long-term goals.
• Educate patients and families on prognosis and care options.
• Supervise PTAs and students as assigned.
• Document progress and outcomes in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.
