Job summary

St. Luke's is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform comprehensive initial evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled interventions.

You will collaborate with patients to set short- and long-term goals, communicate with families and providers, and supervise PT/ PTA staff as assigned. Applicants must hold a PT degree (DPT/MS/BS) from an accredited program and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree, Masters or Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program or PT certificate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association/ACLS as applicable

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations to identify functional deficits and develops a treatment plan to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques, modalities and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to create short and long-term goals.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and other health care providers.
• Supervises PT and PTA staff and students as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety and regulatory standards.
