Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in physical therapy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations to identify functional deficits and develops a treatment plan to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Provide skilled interventions tailored to the patient's needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to create short and long-term goals and documents progress.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and students as assigned; ensures informed consent and confidentiality.
• Maintains accurate records of patient status, progress, and outcomes; participates in quality improvement and department programs.
